All television signals in New Zealand are digital. However the type of signal varies between Terrestrial signals and Satellite signals. Terrestrial signals will be at HD quality while freeview satellite will be at the SD quality. Sky Satellite transmission are moving to all be HD capable with the older decoders being changed out for this reason. |
